Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in automotive warranty, aftersales, or technical support role
Experience working with authorized dealer network preferred
Experience handling warranty systems and claims processing
Strong understanding of automotive warranty policies and procedures
Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Familiarity with warranty claim management systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Warranty Executive is responsible for managing, validating, and administering all vehicle warranty claims submitted by the authorized dealer network. This role ensures warranty claims are processed accurately, comply with principal warranty policies, and align with quality standards. The position also supports dealers in warranty administration, improves claim accuracy, and protects the company from unnecessary warranty costs while maintaining high dealer and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Warranty Claims Management
Review, evaluate, and process warranty claims submitted by authorized dealers in accordance with principal warranty policies and procedures.
Verify claim accuracy, completeness, supporting documentation, and compliance with warranty terms.
Approve, reject, or request additional information for warranty claims within authorized limits.
Ensure timely processing and settlement of warranty claims to maintain dealer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Warranty Policy Compliance & Administration
Ensure all warranty claims adhere to manufacturer warranty policies, technical guidelines, and contractual agreements.
Monitor warranty claim trends, identify abnormalities, and flag potential misuse or fraudulent claims.
Maintain accurate warranty records and documentation in warranty management systems.
Support warranty audits and ensure compliance with internal and principal audit requirements.
Dealer Support & Communication
Provide guidance and clarification to dealers on warranty policies, procedures, and claim submission requirements.
Conduct regular communication with dealer service and warranty personnel to ensure proper claim handling.
Assist dealers in resolving claim issues, discrepancies, and technical clarifications.
Support dealer warranty performance improvement initiatives.
Warranty Cost Control & Monitoring
Monitor warranty claim expenses and ensure claims remain within budget guidelines.
Identify root causes of frequent failures and escalate technical concerns to Technical Manager.
Assist in implementing corrective actions to reduce warranty costs and improve product quality.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular warranty reports, including claim volume, approval rate, rejection rate, and warranty costs.
Analyze warranty data to identify trends, recurring issues, and product quality concerns.
Provide reports and recommendations to management for improvement actions.
System & Documentation Management
Maintain accurate warranty data in warranty systems and ensure proper filing of all supporting documents.
Ensure timely submission of warranty reports to principal and internal stakeholders.
Support warranty system improvements and digitalization initiatives.
