High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) is required.

Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a Cashier, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Proficiency in handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions and inventory counts.

Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.

Provide friendly and welcoming customer service, answering questions about products, promotions, and store policies.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and other necessary supplies.

Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation and balancing.

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards when handling food items and maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.

Upsell or cross-sell products and services to customers to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer flow throughout the distribution centre.

Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with transactions or inventory to the supervisor promptly.
