Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, Broadcasting, Creative, or related fields.
Possess highly creative and innovative writing skills.
Ability to create engaging, clear, and appropriate content for various social media/traditional media platforms.
Ability to be an excellent speaker for social media content, whether live or recorded.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Malay.
Creative, agile-minded, proactive, and meticulous in executing tasks.
Sensitive to social media trends, digital culture, short video formats, and current content developments.
Possess basic skills in scriptwriting, captioning, storytelling, and content ideation.
Ability to manage social media accounts, schedule posts, monitor interactions, and provide performance reports.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project needs.
Willing to provide support outside of normal working hours, including weekends, holidays, and public holidays, as needed for events, launches, client or management instructions.
Willing to travel when necessary.
Possess a valid driving license and own a private car.
Responsibilities
Develop creative, relevant and engaging content ideas for, including but not limited to, social media platforms, digital campaigns, videos, short articles, captions, scripts and promotional materials.
Write content in Bahasa Melayu and English in accordance with the brand tone, campaign objectives and target audience.
Produce copywriting for, including but not limited to, social media, promotional videos, podcast videos, event coverage videos, digital posters, client campaigns and other communication materials.
Develop captions that can be adapted for each applicable social media platform.
Independently structure content based on the brief, campaign strategy and creative direction provided.
Ensure that all content produced is clear, accurate, engaging and suitable for the platform used.
Act as a presenter or host for social media content, either live or pre-recorded, when required.
Communicate well on camera and adapt presentation style according to the type of content, audience and platform.
Source and interview members of the public for the production of testimonial videos.
Monitor and manage social media accounts, including uploading, scheduling, monitoring and analysing posts.
Respond to audience comments, messages and enquiries based on guidelines or approval from the supervisor.
Support digital execution, social media amplification and campaign engagement through posting, reposting, sharing, commenting, interaction and other related actions via approved official channels.
Monitor content trends or current issues on social media and inform the supervisor if there are any matters requiring immediate action.
Support clients’ digital communication activities in an ethical and professional manner, in line with platform guidelines and the client’s image.
