Requirements
Minimum education: SPM / Secondary school education (Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts is an advantage).
No or minimal experience required (fresh graduates are welcome).
Basic interest in cooking and F&B industry.
Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
Ability to follow instructions from senior chefs (CDP, Sous Chef, Head Chef).
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Good teamwork and positive attitude.
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist senior chefs (CDP, Sous Chef, Head Chef) in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare basic ingredients such as washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning food items.
Carry out mise en place (preparation of ingredients before service).
Follow recipes and instructions accurately during food preparation.
Assist in cooking simple dishes under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Support team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
Work as part of a team to maintain efficiency in the kitchen.
