Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role as a cashier, waiter, or kitchen crew in the food and beverage industry.

  • Proficient in cash handling, payment processing (cash, credit/debit cards, e-wallets), and counter management.

  • Ability to take accurate orders, serve food and beverages to customers, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Skills in basic food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating food according to company standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and remain calm under pressure.

  • Possess a positive, customer-friendly attitude, and willingness to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and present menus, answering any questions about ingredients, preparation, or portion sizes.

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated to the kitchen.

  • Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, accurately processing payments (cash, credit card, etc.) and providing correct change.

  • Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, juices, and other drinks, according to established recipes and standards.

  • Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes under the guidance of kitchen staff.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and kitchen, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and washing dishes.

  • Restock service areas with necessary supplies such as cutlery, napkins, condiments, and glassware.

  • Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.

  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
