Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Direct Selling (MLM), FMCG, Healthcare, Wellness, or Consumer Products.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Training, Sales Development, or Business Development.
  • Experience managing regional distributor networks is highly preferred.
  • Experience in East Malaysia markets will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive recruitment, activation, retention, and productivity of Independent Business Owners (IBOs).
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion areas across East Malaysia.
  • Build strong relationships with key distributors, leaders, and business partners.
  • Monitor business performance and recommend initiatives to improve sales growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Support product launches and promotional campaigns within the region.
  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate distributor performance and business opportunities.

Training & Development

  • Design and deliver structured business training programs for new and existing distributors.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for newly joined IBOs.
  • Deliver training on products, compensation plan, selling skills, retailing, recruitment, duplication, leadership, and business ethics.
  • Develop leadership capabilities among emerging and existing field leaders.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, roadshows, webinars, and regional business meetings.
  • Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve learning content.
  • Develop training calendars aligned with business objectives.

Distributor Relationship Management

  • Coach and mentor key leaders to improve organizational performance.
  • Build long-term relationships with distributor leadership teams.
  • Resolve distributor concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Encourage ethical business practices and compliance with company policies.
  • Increase distributor engagement through recognition programs and business support initiatives.

Event Management

  • Plan and execute business meetings, leadership seminars, recognition events, product launches, and training workshops.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Operations for successful event execution.
  • Represent the company at distributor events and business functions.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Collect distributor feedback to improve products, services, and business processes.
  • Identify customer and distributor needs to support business growth.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all distributor activities comply with company policies, the Code of Ethics, and applicable Malaysian regulations governing direct selling.
  • Promote ethical selling practices and professional conduct.
  • Support internal compliance initiatives and policy communication.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports.
  • Maintain accurate training records and attendance reports.
  • Track training effectiveness through post-training evaluations.
  • Submit market intelligence and business development reports to management.
  • Manage training budgets and event expenses efficiently.
