Requirements
Academic Level: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related fields.
Experience: Prior experience teaching children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, or speech delays is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong behavioral management skills, extreme patience, and excellent emotional resilience.
Traits: Highly enthusiastic, creative, compassionate, and an excellent team player.
Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates passionate about special education are welcome to apply (training and mentorship will be provided).
Responsibilities
Individualised Learning: Design, implement, and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities.
Core Instruction: Teach foundational academic, social, and life skills using creative, sensory, and hands-on methods.
Classroom Management: Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment that minimizes behavioral triggers.
Progress Tracking: Assess, record, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Parent Collaboration: Work closely with parents and therapists to provide regular updates and ensure consistent support for the child.
Student Welfare: Monitor and assist with students' personal hygiene, emotional well-being, and daily physical safety.
