Requirements

* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.

* Able to understand technical products and explain suitable solutions to customers.

* Good leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a sales team.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to review sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour.

* Able to prepare quotations, proposals, reports, and tender-related documents.

* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Sales & Marketing Asst Manager – Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Sales & Marketing Asst Manager to lead our sales initiatives, manage customer relationships, and support the company’s business growth in the industrial machinery, blasting machine, spare parts, and related service industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage, plan, and work towards achieving the sales targets set by the Company.

* Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including regular follow-ups on orders, enquiries, quotations, and after-sales matters.

* Respond to sales enquiries promptly, understand customer requirements, and provide suitable product or service recommendations.

* Manage and monitor the daily activities and performance of the sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation where necessary.

* Prepare, manage, and follow up on quotations, proposals, sales documents, and related correspondence with clients.

* Assist in preparing and supporting tender documents when required.

* Work closely with the technical/service team to understand customer requirements and ensure the proposed solutions are suitable and practical.

* Conduct market research and analyse Malaysia’s market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify better business opportunities.

* Develop and propose sales and marketing strategies to improve lead generation, customer conversion, and overall sales performance.

* Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, quotation status, and follow-up reports.

* Prepare and analyse sales reports for management review, market analysis, and business planning purposes.

* Support the planning and execution of marketing activities, including product promotions, customer outreach, exhibitions, trade events, and online marketing initiatives where necessary.

* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, delivery arrangements, customer support, and overall customer satisfaction.

* Handle customer feedback professionally and work with the relevant team to resolve issues in a timely manner.

* Perform any other duties or job functions as assigned by the management from time to time.
