Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

3+ years' post-qualification experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the construction industry

Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in using construction-related software and technology

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preparing and analysing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents

Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts

Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying savings opportunities, and providing regular cost reports

Attending site meetings, inspecting work, and resolving any contractual or commercial issues

Providing commercial and contractual advice to the project team

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
