• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Entry-level position, suitable for recent graduates with a strong academic record.

• Proficiency in structural engineering principles and their application in design.

• Familiarity with construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.

• Ability to use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design and drafting.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic engineering team.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Understanding of relevant building codes and standards.

Design & Analysis

• Prepare post-tensioning designs for slabs, beams, transfer plates, and other PT structural elements.

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations in accordance with applicable design codes and standards.

• Determine tendon profiles, stressing forces, losses, bursting reinforcement, anchorage zones, and detailing requirements.

• Review structural drawings and identify potential design or constructability issues.

• Prepare design reports, calculation packages, and technical submissions for consultant approval.

• Verify serviceability and strength requirements, including deflection, crack control, punching shear, and ultimate limit state checks.

• Assist in value engineering and optimization of PT systems to improve construction efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Technical Coordination

• Liaise with structural consultants, contractors, and project teams regarding PT design requirements and technical matters

• Prepare the PT Shop Drawings for building and Bridge projects based on approved C&S drawing and project specification.

• Coordinate PT detailing with relevant disciplines to ensure compliance with design intent and site requirements.

• Attend technical meetings and provide engineering solutions to project-related issues.

Construction & Site Support

• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Investigate site issues related to PT installation, stressing records, concrete strength requirements, cracking, and grouting operations.

• Review stressing records, elongation reports, and grout reports.

• Provide recommendations and corrective actions for non-conformance issues.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, engineering assessments, and design justifications.

• Maintain project records, design calculations, and revision logs.

• Prepare responses to consultant comments and technical queries.

• Support preparation of as-built documentation and project close-out reports.
