Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight forwarding (Import & Export Operations). Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of import and export procedures, air freight documentation, customs regulations, Incoterms, and IATA regulations.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end air freight operations for both import and export shipments.
  • Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, airlines, ground handling agents, customs brokers, transporters, and other service providers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Arrange air freight bookings, flight schedules, cargo collection, and delivery arrangements.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including House Air Waybill (HAWB), Master Air Waybill (MAWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Manifests, Shipping Instructions, and other import/export related documents.
  • Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
  • Monitor shipment status, flight schedules, ETA/ETD, and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, cargo issues, and operational exceptions.
  • Verify freight charges, airline costs, supplier invoices, and prepare customer billing.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all operational documents are properly completed and filed.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with customers, overseas agents, airlines, and vendors.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Management
