Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Marketing) or equivalent practical experience.
1-2 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the measurement and control industry or a related technical field.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively engage with a broad range of clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales enablement tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market share in the measurement and control instruments sector.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients through effective networking and lead generation activities.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition and benefits of VLM Solutions' offerings.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals and profitability targets.
Collaborate closely with the technical and engineering teams to understand product capabilities and provide tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales activities in the CRM system, providing regular reports on sales progress and market feedback.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in measurement and control to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide post-sales support and foster long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and generate referrals.
Actively participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote VLM Solutions and expand professional contacts.
