Requirements
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or customer service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and follow up abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin as mandatory. Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with prospective customers after meetings conducted by the sales team.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers through timely communication and follow-up.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate pricing with overseas agents and suppliers.
- Obtain freight rates, shipping costs, and other logistics-related quotations from overseas partners.
- Liaise with banks to obtain foreign exchange rates and other banking information when required.
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from booking through delivery.
- Provide regular shipment status updates to customers.
- Prepare and manage shipping and logistics documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, shipment files, and follow-up schedules.
- Assist the sales team with administrative support and ensure all customer requests are handled promptly.
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.
