Salary: RM3,500 – RM5,000, depending on experience and ability

Location: Chew Jetty, 10300 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm; Saturday 10:00am – 2:00pm WFH

Role Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Executive / Accountant to support the finance operations of our fast-growing e-commerce company. This role is suitable for someone who wants stable accounting exposure with room to grow, covering invoices, payments, claims, reconciliation and month-end support.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin, as the company’s working environment and internal communication are mainly Mandarin-based.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, LCCI or related field.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliation, claims or month-end closing is preferred.
• Familiar with accounting software, Excel/Google Sheets and basic finance documentation.
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work with different departments and handle confidential information professionally.

• Handle daily accounting entries, invoices, payment records, receipts and claims.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and supplier/customer records.
• Perform bank reconciliation, payment checking and finance documentation.
• Support month-end closing, reports and account schedules.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and supporting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters.
• Assist with audit, tax, SST or compliance documentation when required.
