Animal Keepers assist in managing the animals (Reptiles/ Birds Dept) in animal health care, husbandry, diet, enrichments, and all that matters related to the animal department; and members of the other Animal Department divisions and all other Melaka Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary departments.

The candidate will:

• It is the responsibility of the Animal Keepers to maintain the highest standards related to the day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to, animal welfare and enrichment, feedback, exhibit maintenance and the guests experience.

• Animal keepers report directly to Head of Department (HoD)

• Candidate must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and approach all encounters with employees in a friendly, service-oriented professional manner.

• Interaction with the public which may include on and off grounds in-house educational programs.

Desired skill:

• Animal lover, fun and innovative.

• Diploma (or equivalent) in poultry farming, zoology, biology, animal science or related field is preferred.

• Literate in Mandarin is an added advantage
