Job Description

Requirements

  • Familiarity with local religious culture and sensitivity to aligning content with current trends (preferably with knowledge of multiple cultures and local customs)
  • Proficient in the local native language and the languages of neighboring countries, capable of understanding game materials and providing review feedback.
  • Preferable to have hands-on experience in game localization for overseas markets and cultural compliance review
  • Familiar with local religious regulations and gaming pitfalls, capable of quickly identifying hidden offense points

Responsibilities

  • Review game copywriting, art, events, and storylines, and identify religious taboos and sensitive content related to Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, and other religions
  • Real-time Q&A for Coordination Planning / Art, Outputting Compliant Revision Plans
  • Establish standardized redline norms for diverse cultural practices, conduct specialized pre-review screenings to mitigate risks before launch
