Communication: Excellent verbal skills to manage drivers, interface with customers, and coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Accounts.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of packers and drivers, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
Geographic Knowledge: Strong understanding of local road networks and regulatory transport laws.
Attention to details: Focused and detail-oriented to support ever-changing operational needs. Capable of spotting picking errors, route deviations, or documentation discrepancies before they escalate into customer complaints.
Responsibilities
Enforce SOPs within the warehouse/delivery fleet and assist the Ops Manager with daily tasks.
Act as the primary point of contact for drivers during transit, resolving delivery issues and communicating delays to the customer service team
Allocate vehicles and drivers based on order volume, segregating B2B routes (bulk, scheduled) from B2C routes (high volume, last-mile)
Plan and execute goods picking/delivery route on a daily basis according to operational needs.
