Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive 3S/4S center. Experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) or plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) is highly advantageous.
Technical Literacy: Comfort with digital platforms, DMS software, and explaining software/hardware systems (e.g., infotainment systems, battery management, ADAS features).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle high-pressure customer service situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Education: Minimum Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on dealership experience will be strongly considered.
License: Possess a valid local driver’s license (to safely move or test-drive customer vehicles when required).
Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship & EV Advisory
Consultation: Welcome customers warmly, conduct vehicle walk-arounds, and act as a trusted advisor regarding their iCAUR vehicle’s health, smart features, and software status.
EV Technical Explanation: Confidently explain electric vehicle concepts, battery health checks, Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, and EV-specific preventative maintenance to customers in clear, everyday language.
Active Listening: Accurately document customer descriptions of vehicle symptoms or tech glitches into the Dealer Management System (DMS).
2. Service Flow & Operations Management
Liaison with Workshop: Coordinate closely with technicians to get accurate diagnostic summaries, parts availability, and repair timelines.
Estimates & Approvals: Prepare transparent cost estimates for parts, labor, and accessories. Present options to customers clearly and secure necessary approvals before work begins.
Progress Tracking: Proactively update customers on their vehicle status via their preferred communication channels (WhatsApp, phone, or email) to ensure zero friction.
3. Revenue & Compliance Excellence
Upselling & Value-Add: Identify and recommend relevant maintenance services, official iCAUR lifestyle accessories, or vehicle care packages where beneficial to the owner.
Quality & Verification: Ensure all service orders, warranty claims, and billing paperwork comply with brand standards and local automotive regulations.
Final Delivery: Conduct a polished vehicle handover, explaining the work completed, walking through the invoice item-by-item, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and ready.
