Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
1-2 years of proven experience in a Sales Engineer role, preferably within the construction or electrical engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, components, and applications relevant to the construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand client needs, and provide tailored technical solutions.
Proficiency in technical sales processes, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and articulating value propositions.
Experience in proposal writing, including the ability to accurately scope projects, estimate costs, and develop compelling proposals.
Excellent negotiation skills to effectively close deals and manage client expectations.
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits within Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and translating them into effective VSD Automation solutions.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our electrical and electronic engineering services to potential customers.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and deliver compelling technical proposals, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOW) that address client requirements.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional technical support, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Identify and articulate technical solutions that meet customer needs, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in the construction industry's electrical and electronic engineering domain.
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies, contributing to the company's competitive edge.
Participate in contract negotiations, providing technical expertise to support commercial discussions and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
