Requirements
1. The Gaming Edge (Must-Have):
- A genuine passion for mobile games. You play them, you understand their mechanics, and you are deeply familiar with current mobile gaming ad trends (playable ads, hook strategies, cinematic trailers, etc.).
2. AI Literacy:
Deep understanding of the generative AI landscape. You know how to use and prompt the best tools to streamline production, specifically:
- Images: Midjourney, Flair, Adobe Firefly, etc.
- Video Generation: Kling, Runway, Seedance, Google Veo, or similar platforms.
- Scripts/Copywriting: ChatGPT, Claude, or specific ad-testing AI platforms to assist script creation.
3. Experience & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a creative agency, ad agency, or gaming studio, with a proven track record of managing design teams.
- Global Scope: Experience working on or managing international portfolios and understanding regional creative preferences.
- Education: Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator alongside your AI toolkit.
- Bonus Points: Background or experience in print, event design, game production, animation, or illustration is a massive plus.
4. Soft Skills:
- Collaboration & Leadership: Strong history of managing teams and working synchronously with project - managers and production leads to execute strict production pipelines.
- Communication: Fluent in English with excellent active listening and teamwork skills.
- Presentation: A confident presenter who can pitch complex visual concepts internally and to international stakeholders.
- Mindset: Exceptionally detail-oriented with top-tier time management skills to handle fast-paced, high-volume advertising timelines.
Responsibilities
Concept to Reality: Lead the visual execution of creative ad concepts, ensuring high-quality, scroll-stopping gaming ads come to life.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Work hand-in-hand with the Production Lead and Project Manager to align on creative strategy, resource allocation, and the smooth delegation of work across the team.
AI Integration: Actively leverage and champion AI creative workflows. You will utilize cutting-edge AI tools to rapidly prototype, generate, and iterate on high-converting images, video ads, and copy concepts.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Copywriters on topline ideas and campaign concepts tailored for global audiences.
Pre-Production & Problem Solving: Participate in initial briefings and international kickoff calls. Proactively identify potential production bottlenecks or visual challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide clear art direction, constructive feedback, and regular performance reviews for designers to elevate their visual craft.
Quality Control (QC): Act as the main internal gatekeeper for visual quality, ensuring all deliverables are polished, culturally resonant across different regions, and on-brand before final delivery.
Growth & Pitching: Secure new international business by actively participating in creative pitching exercises.
Talent Acquisition: Identify, review, and help onboard new design talent to grow the creative team.
