Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience in handling full set accounts and financial reporting.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing team members.

  • Familiarity with ERP accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts & Finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial analyses for management review.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities on audit, tax, and compliance matters.

  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives to improve overall financial performance.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members to achieve departmental objectives and deadlines.

  • Maintain and enhance accounting systems, internal controls, and financial processes to improve operational efficiency.

  • Assist management with business analysis, financial recommendations, and ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities delegated by Management from time to time.
