Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a retail environment, preferably within the pet or specialty goods sector.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Proficiency in closing sales effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience from inquiry to purchase.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin being a significant advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.
Familiarity with basic Point of Sale (POS) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) principles.
A genuine passion for cats and understanding of their needs, which can be leveraged to enhance customer engagement and sales.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company- sales targets and expand the customer base within the pet supplies market.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their needs related to pet care and products.
Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships within the local pet industry, including collaborations with veterinarians, groomers, and other pet-related businesses.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique benefits and features of Meow Factory's cat products.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue and customer loyalty.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials tailored to the Malaysian market.
Provide timely and accurate sales reports to management, including forecasts, pipeline status, and key performance indicators.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive brand experience.
