Requirements
Develop and manage the full lifecycle of Ground-Mounted Concentrated Photovoltaic (GCPV) solar projects, from initial feasibility studies and site selection through to final commissioning and handover.
Conduct detailed technical and economic feasibility assessments for potential GCPV solar sites, including resource analysis, grid interconnection studies, and financial modeling.
Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, technical specifications, engineering designs, environmental impact assessments, and permitting applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Source and evaluate technology providers and EPC contractors for GCPV solar projects, negotiating contracts and overseeing their performance.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in GCPV solar technology, market trends, and regulatory landscapes to identify new opportunities and optimize project designs.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including landowners, local authorities, utility companies, and investors, fostering positive and productive collaborations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project development processes and methodologies within the company.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical development and feasibility studies for new Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic (GCPV) solar projects, from initial concept through to detailed design.
Conduct site assessments, analyze solar resource data, and perform energy yield simulations to optimize project performance and economic viability.
Develop and manage the technical aspects of project documentation, including PPA technical sections, EPC specifications, and interconnection applications.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project finance, legal, construction) and external stakeholders (e.g., grid operators, suppliers, consultants) to ensure seamless project progression.
Perform technical due diligence on potential project sites, equipment, and technology providers to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Contribute to the tendering process by preparing technical scopes of work, evaluating bids from EPC contractors and equipment suppliers, and supporting contract negotiations.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in solar technology, grid integration, and relevant regulations to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements in project development.
