Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, preferably in educational or institutional settings.

• Strong knowledge of international building codes, safety standards, and compliance frameworks.

• Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and engineering management software.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities :

• Campus Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems across classrooms, laboratories, auditoriums, and sports facilities.

• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical systems such as HVAC, lighting, power supply, and fire safety equipment.

• Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with local and international building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and preventive maintenanceschedules.

• Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs.

• Monitor and optimise system performance for long-term efficiency.

• Project Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants on new construction, renovation, and expansion projects.

• Prepare technical documentation, CAD drawings, and specifications for school facilities.

• Stakeholder Support

• Provide technical guidance to school leadership and facilities teams.

• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues to minimise disruption to teaching and learning.
