BUILDING SURVEYOR (JOHOR ONLY)
Full-Time & Internship Positions Available
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Johor Bahru.
Atleast Diploma in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of building construction methods, materials, workmanship standards, and relevant regulations.
Ability to conduct building inspections and identify defects, non-compliance issues, and potential risks.
Able to prepare clear, accurate, and professional inspection reports.
Willing to travel regularly for site inspections across Johor.
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and team members.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet reporting deadlines.
Team player with a positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese will be an added advantage.
Familiar with basic surveying and inspection equipment.
Possess a valid driving licence.
Company vehicle and transportation will be provided for work-related site inspections.

Responsibilities
Conduct building inspections to identify defects, workmanship issues, and potential non-compliance with building standards and regulations.
Assess the condition of residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including vacant possession (VP), subsale, post-renovation, and other inspection projects.
Prepare detailed and professional inspection reports, including photographs, findings, and recommendations (if needed).
Perform site visits across Johor and gather relevant information required for inspection.
Assist in evaluating building conditions, maintenance issues, and property defects.
Utilize inspection tools and equipment to carry out assessments accurately and efficiently.
Communicate inspection findings and recommendations clearly to clients, contractors, and team members.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, photographs, and project documentation.
Ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with company standards, procedures, and industry best practices.
Support the team in resolving technical issues and providing practical solutions related to building defects and maintenance.
Participate in internal training sessions and continuously enhance technical knowledge and professional skills.
Work closely with colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
