About the role

As a Chargeman, you will be responsible for supporting electrical maintenance, equipment monitoring, and facility operations to ensure smooth and safe manufacturing activities. You will play an important role in maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting preventive maintenance activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor electrical facilities and manufacturing equipment to ensure stable and safe operations.
• Preventive Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, company procedures, and operational standards.
• Technical Support: Assist in resolving electrical issues and support maintenance activities across production and facility operations.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Support any additional maintenance, facility, or operational tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Possess a valid Chargeman certificate or any relevant certificate.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage to support coordination with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
