Job Description

Requirements

  • Coordinate and support the planning and execution of nationwide promotions, departmental promotions, Pop Club campaigns, and other activities by working closely with Buyers, Marketing, Operations, Admin, Online, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage promotional materials and marketing content, including artwork coordination, POSM preparation, banner requisitions, website updates, and social media activities to support promotional campaigns.
  • Manage online product assortment, product listings, inventory performance, and sales analysis to optimize product availability and online business performance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update related documentation, system records, and administrative paperwork, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, stock data, and promotional setup in all relevant systems.
  • Actively select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best trading terms, build strong relationships, and monitor vendor performance to resolve operational issues such as late deliveries and returns.
  • Assist and plan purchases, manage budgets (OTB), and control margins.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ageing stock, slow-moving items, markdowns, and write-offs to ensure healthy inventory turnover and minimize dead stock. Reorder stock when necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Prepare, review and analyze sales performance, stock, and promotion reports regularly to adjust buying decisions and take corrective actions to improve sales, margins, and inventory health.
  • Conduct store visits to review displays, pricing, and stock conditions.
  • Support business expansion, departmental planning, and guideline development.
  • Assist in strategic projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • SPM graduates with at least 2-3 years relevant experience or Diploma holder or Degree holder in any discipline. Candidates with an administrative background and a strong interest in merchandising are also encouraged to apply
  • Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, honest and professional in vendor dealings.
  • Able to analyze sales data and market trends, possess good organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Team player, works well with other departments.
  • Flexible and adaptable to retail changes.
  • Proficient in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Willing to be based at Platinum Cheras.
