As an established metal fabricator and assembler, our client have a range of production facilities to meet the needs of customers for fabricated semi finished metal products and metal parts as well as assembly of finished products. JOB EXPECTED RESULTS:
- To issue Purchase Order and ensure every Purchase Order with Acknowledgement.
- To negotiate best payment term & Incoterms for the company.
- To source new supplier, follow customer’s specification for competitive price.
- To request at least 3 quotations for price comparison.
- To review exposure and highlight to Sales Team for next action.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full spectrum of the purchasing process (Processing of Purchase Orders, liaise, monitor, follow up and expedite delivery with suppliers).
- Ensuring the purchasing activities and deliverables are undertaken in accordance with agreed schedules/milestones.
- Monitor and ensure all goods received meet specification and arrange replacement from vendors shall there be any rejected goods.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
- Manage material inventory and perform inventory stocking activities.
- Co-ordinate with Warehouse, & Shipping on shipping arrangement, import and export and ensure smooth and prompt delivery.
- Monitors PO acknowledgements and take appropriate action to resolve and/or escalate, based on the situation.
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors when it is deemed necessary from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
- Working experience of relevant software.

- Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practices.
- Excellent networking and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analyses.
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
