Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MICPA or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and Companies Act requirements.
Proven experience in leading audit engagements and managing a team.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage statutory audit engagements from planning to completion.
Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by the audit team.
Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with approved auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage client relationships, attend meetings, and provide professional advice to clients.
Monitor audit progress, budgets, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of assignments.
Supervise, guide, and train audit seniors and assistants.
Identify audit risks and propose appropriate audit strategies and solutions.
Support business development and contribute to the growth of the audit department.
