Must-Have AIGC Capabilities (Core Requirements)
You should be able to demonstrate, in your portfolio or in interview, hands-on production work with:
- AI video generation: Seedance 2.0 (multimodal, native-audio), Runway (Gen-3 / Gen-4), Kling, Pika, Luma, or comparable — at production quality, not just demo reels.
- AI voiceover & multilingual dubbing: ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar — including Bahasa Malaysia and / or Mandarin Chinese voice work.
- AI avatars / digital presenters: HeyGen, Synthesia, or D-ID.
- AI-assisted editing and post: CapCut AI, Descript, Submagic for cuts, captions, silence removal, auto-translation.
- Image-to-video and AI b-roll workflows for stylized or hard-to-shoot scenes.
- Prompt engineering — you can write effective prompts, iterate on failures, and articulate why a generated result looks the way it does.
Traditional Editing Foundations (Still Required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects — non-negotiable. AIGC does not replace timeline craft.
- Solid fundamentals in pacing, transitions, motion graphics, color correction, and audio mixing.
- Fluent across 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 — you know what each platform's cut should feel like.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Blender, or Cinema 4D is a plus.
Portfolio Requirements
Please include with your application:
- 5+ recent video projects, with at least 3 published within the last 6 months.
- At least 2 projects that explicitly use AIGC tools — please tell us which tools, at which stages, and what the result was.
- Showreel or links (YouTube, TikTok, Behance, personal site).
- Multilingual work strongly preferred — please flag English / Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin examples.
- Optional but appreciated: a one-paragraph description of your current AIGC video workflow, including your favourite tool stack and a recent experiment that failed.
