• Operating Theatre Technician Course includes Diploma/ Certificate will be advantge 

• Minimal 1 years working experience after obtaining training in the junior Operating Theatre Technician or similar training in an acute tertiary level Health Care Facilities

• Good listeners with effective with verbal and written communications

To render effective and efficient peri-operative care in order to meet optimal surgical outcome and patient satisfaction in line with our organization vision and mission.

Job Discriptions : 

• Prepare operating rooms before surgeries by ensuring that all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and in working order.

• Assist surgical team members in donning sterile attire and maintaining sterile fields throughout procedures.

• Set up and operate surgical equipment such as anesthesia machines, lights, suction devices, and monitors.

• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, by provision of appropriate surgical instrumentation and equipment, surgical supplies, medical devices, positioning aids and assistance.

• Handle and care for medical device transportation, ensuring proper cleaning and storage procedures are followed.

• Ensure patient safety and assist with patient positioning as directed by the surgical team.

• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including equipment used, supplies consumed, and patient data.

• Assist with patient transfer to and from the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Has basic knowledge in the care of various medical devices, anesthesia equipment and supplies used in the Operating Theatre.

• Ability to maintain good health and consistent attendance.

• Ability to learn new equipment and medical device in assisting the surgical procedures.
