Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields.

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or supplier management, preferably within the FMCG food manufacturing industry.

  • Proficiency in AutoCount systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and external partners.

  • Proactive, independent, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Capacity & Inventory Planning

  • Align supplier production capacity with current and future demand forecasts to create actionable replenishment plans.

  • Manage planning for raw materials, intermediate goods, and finished goods inventory.

  • Lead the Purchase Order (PO) generation process through the AutoCount system.

External Supplier & Internal Technical Product Development Collaboration

  • Liaise closely with production manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and the Operations Team to ensure production capacity meets current and future business requirements.

  • Monitor lead times and capacity bottlenecks, particularly during new product development and product rollout stages.

  • Coordinate raw material and packaging material depletion planning.

Inventory Optimization

  • Establish and monitor inventory targets to maintain high service levels while minimizing inventory carrying costs.

  • Manage distressed, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory effectively.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Lead and support bi-weekly and monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.

  • Align consensus forecasts with production and supply planning strategies.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop, monitor, and analyze supply planning dashboards.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve supply chain efficiency and optimize inventory holding days while supporting sales growth.

Risk Mitigation

  • Develop contingency plans for potential supply disruptions.

  • Monitor high inventory levels and near-expiry inventory.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
