Job Description

Requirements

  • Possess at least Diploma in Science.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the chemical or scientific products industry.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with a diverse customer base.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and effectively, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work onsite at Chemmart Asia Sdn Bhd, located in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.

  • Familiarity with fine chemicals and scientific products is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

  • Process quotation & customer orders thru SQL system, ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantity, and pricing, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department or personnel when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Chemmart Asia's product offerings, including fine chemicals and scientific products, to effectively address customer inquiries and provide technical support.

  • Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfillment, track shipments, and resolve any delivery-related issues, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and update the customer database with relevant information, including contact details, order history, and communication logs.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures, and provide recommendations to management for enhancing the overall customer experience.
