Responsibilities
1) Assisting Assistant Manager Purchasing Cum Admin in day-to-day operation.
2) Create and maintain general purchase orders and ensure pricing and delivery dates are being met.
3) Supporting purchasing activities such as tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery, reviewing deliveries against the orders, tracking the status of any orders, etc.
4) Deal with non-supplied, under orders, orders, and damaged goods.
5) Follow up with suppliers on backorders and confirm the estimated time of arrival.
6) Maintaining supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. Ensure that systems are kept up to date with the most current procurement information
7) Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
8) Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts.
9) Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
10) Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
11) Support day-to-day administration, purchasing of stationers, office equipment, office general items, etc.
12) Filing and keeping track of documents.
13) Produce and maintain reports.
14) Mandarin speaker will give priority to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
