Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) Hiring! Full Time Chargeman BO 11kV in Johor, Earn up to MYR 12,000 - Ricebowl

Main Responsibilities:-

Safety & Compliance:

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs, policies, and regulations to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Liaise with authorities such as DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and BOMBA to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage yearly renewals of factory installation registration with TNB and the Energy Commission.
• Perform scheduled inspections and testing of equipment like standby generators and fire pumps.

Maintenance & Operations:

• Lead and manage a team of technicians and wiremen to provide reliable support for all plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Plan, execute, and supervise annual servicing and calibration of all High Voltage (HT), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) equipment, including transformers and switchgears.
• Perform electrical switching for various circuit breakers and other related equipment.
• Ensure all electrical motors and equipment are in good and safe working condition.
• Work with technicians on both emergency and preventive maintenance.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Establish process and maintenance procedures and work instructions for all electrical equipment.
• Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all electrical equipment.
• Prepare and provide daily, monthly, and annual reports on power consumption and equipment performance.

Team & Support:

• Provide on-the-job training to subordinates on the basic operation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Support the team after work hours by being available on a standby basis for calls.
• Undertake other special assignments and ad-hoc duties as required by management.

Requirements:-

• Must possess minimum valid 11kV BO Chargeman Certificate from Energy Commission.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Food Manufacturing products is added advantages.
• Experience with all type of electrical motor is added advantages.
• Knowledge in instrumentation and PLC is an added advantage.
• Experience collaborating with other teams/departments within the organization.
• Possess own transportation, able to attend breakdowns during off-working and rest days / public holidays if required.
• Willing to work in Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah.
• Experience with Food Manufacturing products a plus.
• Experience collaborating with other teams/departments within the organization.
• Experienced in engineering processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
