Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of proven experience in an Account Executive role or a similar client-facing position within the accounting or tax services industry.
Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and practices, with the ability to manage client accounts accurately.
Solid understanding of tax compliance regulations and procedures relevant to businesses in Malaysia.
Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, identifying key trends and insights for clients.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB) and CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong desire to contribute to client success and company growth.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare and file various tax returns (corporate, individual, etc.) accurately and timely, staying updated on the latest tax laws and changes.
Conduct thorough financial analysis, generating insightful reports to support client decision-making and identify areas for financial improvement.
Utilize accounting software to maintain client ledgers, reconcile accounts, and process financial transactions efficiently.
Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on bookkeeping best practices, tax planning strategies, and financial management.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.
