Job Description

Requirements

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

1. Participates actively and encourages compliance to all policies and Procedures of ISO9001: 2008, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2004, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards, Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards, PSG and NNA.  

● Conformance to IMS (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 45001:2018) Standard and Requirements as per instructed by Superior.

 

2. To carry out other relevant duties  as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Regulations: 

~ To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons. 

~ To co-operate with your employer or any other persons in the discharge of any duty. 

~ To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer. 

~ To comply with any instruction or measure or Measure on Occupational Safety and Health.

~ Ensure adhere to KPJ nursing code of professional conduct. First edition July 2018 – endorsed in KPJ MAC in May 2019. 

● All staffs are responsible and accountable to carry out duties as in the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Regulations 

Responsibilities

3. Participate in 5S activities. 

● Responsible and accountable to carry out all 5S activities as per instructed by Superior.

4. Ensure the policies on patient’s and family’s rights are addressed at all times

● All staffs are aware, responsible and accountable to fulfill the needs of patient’s and family’s rights at all times 

5. To maintain proper housekeeping in the services / ward.

● Clean, neat and safe environment at work place.

6. To support Baby Friendly concept.

● Responsible and accountable to adhere to the steps of successful breastfeeding as requirement.

7. Involvement in Risk Management exercise.

● Every employee is responsible and accountable for managing the risks within their work environment.
