Requirements

1. Diploma or above in Logistics Management, International Trade, or related field preferred.

2. Minimum 1 year of experience in international freight forwarding or cross-border logistics operations.

3. Familiarity with Malaysian import/export and transshipment procedures is an advantage.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics operation systems.

5. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.

6. Strong responsibility, time management, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.

Logistics Operations Specialist Location: Penang, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the full-cycle import/export operations, including space booking, B/L verification, customs document preparation, and system data entry, ensuring zero errors at every step.

2. Precisely track shipment status in line with the client's time-critical delivery requirements.

3. Coordinate with the pickup & delivery team and local dispatchers to ensure customs clearance and final delivery within the committed lead time.

4. Handle daily ad-hoc issues such as flight delays, customs holds, and delivery exceptions.

5. Initiate backup plans and update superiors and the China Operations Center on any operational issues.

6. Maintain close communication with local customs brokers, airline ground handlers, and trucking companies.

7. Prepare and submit daily operational reports and exception case analysis.
