Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the F&B / restaurant industry

  • Proven experience in restaurant operations management

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Experience handling multiple outlets is an advantage

  • Able to manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and customer service

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and SOP compliance

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in cost control, budgeting, and inventory management

  • Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the full setup of new franchise outlets.

  • Develop and execute pre-opening timelines and operational plans.

  • Supervise renovation, fit-out works, and equipment installation.

  • Ensure all necessary business licenses and food operation permits are obtained.

  • Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

  • Source and procure kitchen equipment, furniture, utensils, and supplies.

  • Appoint and liaise with suppliers and vendors.

  • Manage setup budget and control operational costs.

  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Establish food preparation standards, hygiene protocols, and quality control systems.

  • Set up POS systems and reporting procedures.

  • Build, structure, and oversee cross-functional teams including operations, kitchen, service, marketing, and support functions for franchise development and support.

  • Recruit outlet staff including kitchen and service team members.

  • Conduct staff training on operations, service standards, and food safety.

  • Prepare staff duty rosters and manpower planning.

  • Assist in menu planning, costing, and pricing strategy.

  • Monitor food cost, wastage, and inventory control systems.

  • Lead soft opening and official launch.

  • Monitor daily sales performance and operational efficiency.

  • Address operational issues and ensure smooth outlet operations.             

  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by management.
