Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Min 2 years of experience in the precision engineering industry

Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight)

Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, material selection and fabrication methods.

Experience in designing precision engineering components, assemblies and automation systems (jigs & fixtures, robotics, conveyors) is preferred

Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, machining, welding and sheet metal fabrication processes is an advantage

Strong analytical, multitasking and problem-solving skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform overtime when required

Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.

Design mechanical enclosures, structures and assemblies for equipment or modules

Conduct structural assessment, tolerance analysis and design verification

Support sales team with site measurement and site installation when required

Attend project meetings and client briefings/site visits

Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers and customers to validate prototypes

Review and improve designs based on testing results, manufacturing feedback and end-user requirements

Develop new product designs and ensure compliance with safety, durability and protection standards

Perform other duties as required
