Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing operations.

  • Good understanding of Incoterms and transportation regulations.

  • Experience in monitoring supplier performance and proposing corrective actions.

  • Proficient in ERP/P2P systems such as Oracle PO and SmartPal.

  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Experience in the offshore maritime industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Create and issue purchase orders in compliance with existing contracts and procurement procedures.

  • Ensure proper application of Incoterms, contractual terms, and supplier conditions in all purchase orders.

  • Source and select suppliers for non-contractual and spot purchase requirements.

  • Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value.

  • Coordinate with Category Managers for strategic sourcing and supplier support when required.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Requisition (PR) to final delivery.

  • Monitor transportation, shipment tracking, and logistics activities in collaboration with the Logistics Department.

  • Act as the main point of contact for operational teams regarding procurement, order status, and delivery follow-up.

  • Identify delays or operational issues, raise alerts promptly, and ensure corrective actions are implemented with relevant stakeholders.

  • Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery schedules, contractual compliance, and service quality, and provide regular feedback to Category Managers.
