Must possess valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor certification) registered with DOSH Malaysia
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction/site safety
Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA, and construction safety requirements
Good communication and reporting skills
Able to work independently and enforce safety compliance
Additional Requirements
Must have own transportation (car)
Willing to travel and visit multiple project sites
Able to work outdoors and handle site-based environments
Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)to ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate must be a registeredYellow Book holder (DOSH) and will be responsible for monitoring site safety, enforcing compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across project sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Safety Management
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Enforce adherence to OSHA, DOSH, and company safety regulations
Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits
2. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with Malaysian safety laws and regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA, etc.)
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records
Report incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including investigation and corrective actions
3. Risk Assessment
Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC)
Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
Ensure proper implementation of control measures on-site
4. Training & Awareness
Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and induction training
Promote safety awareness and educate workers on safe work practices
Ensure all workers use proper PPE at all times
5. Emergency Preparedness
Assist in developing emergency response plans
Ensure first aid arrangements and emergency equipment are in place and adequate
Act as a safety focal point during emergencies
6. Site Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and workers on safety matters
Stop unsafe work practices when necessary
Ensure subcontractors comply with safety requirements
