Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a highly related technical field.

• Experience: 1 – 3 years of engineering experience working directly with industrial valves, actuators, piping networks, or fluid control systems.

• Fresh Graduates: Ambitious fresh engineering graduates possessing strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics or mechanical design are highly encouraged to apply. 

Soft Skills

• Meticulous Precision: Extremely sharp attention to detail to catch misalignments in pressure classes, material types, and tiny line item figures.

• Articulate Explanations: Ability to translate dense mechanical criteria into simple, commercial-friendly arguments for sales teams and customers.

• Deadline Management: Highly structured problem-solver who thrives when balancing multiple quote requests under strict project timelines

• Generate Technical Quotations: Review client inquiries, data sheets, and process parameters to generate accurate price quotations and comprehensive technical proposals.

• Valve Sizing & Selection: Perform functional sizing and selection of various valves (Control, Choke, Ball, Gate, Globe, Actuated Valves, and Manifolds) matching specific fluid, gas, temperature, and pressure conditions.

• Tender & Compliance Review: Evaluate client tender documents and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to create technical compliance tables and explicitly log deviations.

• Costing & BOM Management: Work out cost structures by verifying component parts, trim materials, body materials, and actuator requirements to maintain profit margins

Sales Team & Technical Support

• Sales Technical Backbone: Act as the main technical point of contact to resolve product queries and application concerns raised by the sales team or end clients.

• Drawing & Blueprint Reviews: Examine engineering drawings, dimension sheets, and CAD layouts to verify that the face-to-face dimensions and flange connections match the site constraints.

• Configuration Optimization: Ensure flawless operational matching between chosen valve bodies and their corresponding actuators (pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic)
