Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Proven experience in a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in industrial settings.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

  • Proficiency in technical sales methodologies, including needs assessment, solution selling, and proposal development.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and a proven track record of managing sales pipelines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer challenges and propose effective technical solutions.

  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with a diverse client base.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to client sites and industry events.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions for Azure Precision's product offerings.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition and key features.

  • Analyze customer requirements and provide expert technical advice, ensuring alignment with our engineering capabilities and manufacturing processes.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new sales opportunities and enhance our product positioning.

  • Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting, ensuring a seamless customer experience and fostering long-term partnerships.
