Job Responsibilities
Assist the purchasing supervisor in handling daily purchasing tasks, including price inquiry, price comparison, placing purchase orders and following up on delivery progress.
Maintain supplier information, and assist in supplier liaison, communication and basic evaluation work.
Organize purchasing documents and ledgers, and assist the finance department in reconciliation, invoice verification and other related work.
Follow up on the arrival of materials, coordinate and handle delivery abnormalities, returns and exchanges, to ensure the smooth operation of the purchasing process.
Complete other auxiliary purchasing-related tasks assigned by superiors.
Responsibilities
Diploma or above, no restriction on major; fresh graduates are welcome. Candidates with relevant purchasing experience are preferred.
Proficient in office software (especially Excel) and possess basic data processing capabilities.
Language Requirement: Proficient in Chinese, English and Malay, with good communication and coordination skills, able to proficiently use the three languages to handle purchasing liaison and communication matters.
Meticulous and rigorous in work, strong sense of responsibility, with basic cost awareness and problem-solving abilities, able to complete own work efficiently.
Malaysian citizen, familiar with the local purchasing market and relevant processes in Malaysia, willing to comply with work arrangements and adapt to the rhythm of daily purchasing clerical work.
