Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

At least 2-3 years of experience in planning, production planning, or supply chain field is required, preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of production planning, material planning, and scheduling.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.

Detail-oriented, well-organized, and responsible.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To perform planning, prepare schedule for production lines and coordinate production workflow for one or multiple parts.

To perform production scheduling in PACPortal system.

To plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay of output.

To monitor jobs with different departments and to ensure they will finish on time.

To address issues of quality or delivery with department supervisors when issues arise with the aim to minimize disruption.

To meet and address all department supervisors during the daily stand up meeting with any urgent matters related to customer request to seek understanding and immediate solutions.

To obtain output information e.g. number of finished parts and percentage of defectives parts.

To collaborate with OQA, IQC, Store, Production and other supporting functions to accomplish assignment of jobs.

To communicate with customer’s buyers for any ETA matters and update customers the new ETA with reasons of delay on a timely basis.

To update the Management in KPI of customer forecast and OTD on a timely basis.

To coach and guide junior team members to accomplish department results by communicating job expectations.

To ensure filing of documentation are performed in an orderly manner and retrievable as and when required.

To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
