Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) is required.
No prior experience in credit recovery or a related field is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to discuss payment arrangements and resolve outstanding debts.
Proficiency in customer service principles and practices, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Familiarity with basic debt collection techniques and strategies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced call center environment.
Detail-oriented with good record-keeping and organizational skills.
Willingness to adhere to company policies and relevant legal regulations regarding debt collection.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
Responsibilities
Contacting customers via phone and email to discuss outstanding debts and payment arrangements.
Negotiating payment plans and settlements with customers in accordance with company policies.
Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities, customer interactions, and payment agreements in the system.
Following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize delinquency rates.
Resolving customer queries and disputes related to their accounts in a professional and empathetic manner.
Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and support the collection process.
Adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements for debt collection practices.
