Full Time MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT MANAGER Jobs, salary up to MYR 6,000 in Shuangfei Wire Harness Sdn Bhd Serendah - Ricebowl

1.      Leadership & team management, technical problem solving & RCA, Maintenance planning & reliability engineering, Documentation & audit compliance, Communication & cross-functional coordination.

2.      Proficient in AutoCAD for layout and equipment modification. Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

3.      Willing to work overtime and handle emergency breakdown situations. Strong knowledge of cutting, crimping, assembly, and automation equipment.

4.      Continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen / Lean Maintenance) Ability to make decisions, managerial control and ideal improvement.

Able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Chinese) to support production coordination, technical discussion, and supplier communication.

1.      Discuss with managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Lead, supervise, and support maintenance engineers and technicians in daily operations. Monitor technician performance, attendance, and overtime planning. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training for skill development. Ensure manpower allocation is optimized for maintenance.

2.      Ensure all production equipment is maintained for high reliability and minimal downtime. Oversee maintenance activities for cutting crimping, assembly, and special process machines. Monitor equipment performance and drive improvements in MTBF and MTTR. Identify potential machine failures and eliminate risks before production impact.

3.      Report to the manager for any abnormalities & recommend countermeasures to overcome the problem.

4.      Plan, develop, and improve preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment. Ensure full execution of PM activities within timeline and budget. Review PM effectiveness and improve maintenance strategies continuously.

5.      To review and advise on the performance of machine DT, failure and analysis report as well as implement corrective actions and improvements. Provide guidance, technical support and adequate tooling for subordinates to ensure task completion on time.

6.      Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and chronic issues. Ensure breakdown repairs are completed within the target response time. Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams during machine failures. Participate in contingency meeting/action for utility and major equipment/machine failure. Work closely with Production, Quality, and technical teams to resolve line issues.

7.      Lead commissioning, installation, shifting, and qualification of new machines. Ensure proper validation and documentation before equipment release to production. Manage equipment model change activities, including setup, verification, and relocation. Ensure proper storage and tracking of old/new equipment during changes.

8.      Ensure proper maintenance of cutting blades, crimping molds, and related tooling. Plan and execute blade replacement schedules to prevent defects and downtime. Maintain blade and tooling records. Monitor crimping quality compliance based on wire harness standards.

9.      Plan and control spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory. Ensure availability of critical spare parts for production continuity. Coordinate procurement and supplier repair services for maintenance needs.

10.   Develop, update, and maintain SOP, SOI, checklists, and work instructions to achieve department targets and company goals. Maintain the equipment master list and ensure accuracy and traceability. Ensure all maintenance records, breakdown reports, and PM logs are properly maintained. Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, and customer requirements. Participate and support internal and external audits related to maintenance systems.

11.   Organize weekly and monthly maintenance review meetings. Analyze and report MTBF, MTTR, and OEE performance. Identify improvement actions and follow up on implementation. Present maintenance performance reports to the manager.

12.   Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, uptime, and maintenance cost. Support improvement, modification, and relocation projects using AutoCAD. Drive Kaizen, lean maintenance, and cost reduction initiatives. Analyze machine data for improvement opportunities.

13.   Liaise with suppliers for repair, calibration, and technical support. Train maintenance technicians on equipment operation and PM practices. Develop skill matrix and ensure team competency improvement. Promote safety awareness and technical capability enhancement.

14.   Ensure safe working practices are followed by all maintenance staff. Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
