Requirements
Proven experience in tender documentation & submission (MANDATORY)
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum [X] years of experience in construction/interior fit-out industry
Strong knowledge of costing, contracts, and tender processes
Willing and able to travel to site frequently (site-based involvement is required)
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Experience in interior design / renovation / construction projects
Familiar with measurement tools and costing software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING)
This role requires hands-on experience in tender documentation and submission.
Candidates without tendering experience will NOT be considered.
Job Responsibilities
Handle full tender process including preparation, pricing, submission, and follow-up
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for tender purposes
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and project budgeting
Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
Monitor project costs and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts
Attend site regularly to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with drawings & specs
Coordinate with design team, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
Ensure work quality, safety compliance, and project timelines are met on-site
Report site progress and issues to management
