Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, stock control, or related roles•
  • Basic understanding of stock analysis, sales trends, and ROP concepts•
  • Able to analyze stock movement, shortage risks, and slow-moving items before purchasing decisions
  • Good negotiation and communication skills with suppliers•
  • Strong follow-up and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized in handling purchasing records and data
  • Familiar with Excel, inventory systems, or purchasing tools
  • Positive attitude, disciplined, and able to follow company procedures
  • Willing to learn, improve, and grow with the company

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and preparing purchase orders based on stock movement and replenishment needs
  • Monitor stock levels and support reorder planning using the ROP (Reorder Point) system
  • Analyze sales trends, stock movement, shortages, and slow-moving items before placing orders
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding quotations, delivery status, item availability, and urgent orders
  • Compare supplier pricing, lead time, and product conditions before submission for approval
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier files, and related documentation
  • Work closely with inventory, warehouse, and outlet teams to ensure timely replenishment
  • Monitor out-of-stock items, delivery delays, and abnormal purchasing issues
  • Support sourcing, supplier communication, and daily procurement coordination
  • Prepare weekly/monthly purchasing and stock analysis reports
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and approval processes
  • Handle ad-hoc procurement and stock planning tasks assigned by management
